Our Store

The historic George Y Bird building is just steps from the courthouse square in charming Gainesville, Texas.  The building originally housed Bird Dry Goods Store and from the mid 1940s-70s was the Henley Harrison Supply Company.  In 2007, Henley's granddaughter, Cahoots designer Paige Davidson, renovated the building, finding a 100+ year old sarsaparilla mural in the process.  The mural and the quirky building with its well-worn wooden floors is home to the Cahoots Handbags studio, painting studio for Davidson, art gallery, and boutique.  In addition to the Cahoots Handbags  line, the store showcases handmade product by local artists and friends and is conveniently located on the edge of the historic South Gainesville neighborhood.  With frequent in-store events, Cahoots Handbags invites you to come soak in a bit of Gainesville's history.
